I am in a beginner art class and this book was recommended by the art teacher. I found it comprehensive and helpful. Would recommend it. Nice book for beginners. One person found this helpful. Great book, lots of information and great techniques.

I haven’t finished it yet, but since its a reference book one just keeps coming back to it. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. For those people like me that are not naturally that good at drawing, but want to improve, this book is fantastic.

It is so comprehensive, covering a range of different types of drawings and techniques. What I particularly like is that the step-by-step guides are both detailed and easy to follow.

Like with anything, it takes practice and you will not get there overnight! But this is certainly not related to what the book offers. The only potential drawback is that there is a lot of detail in this book and this might prove to be a bit daunting! However, this is not a criticism of the book, it is just something that should be taken into account. Report this Document. Flag for inappropriate content. Download now. Jump to Page.
